GulfStream Bistro & Seafood Market - West Palm Beach

Located across the street from the Rhythm Cafe, the Sisters 'spied' this eatery at dinner and decided to try it. The Sisters are happy to report we are glad we did.  The concept for this restaurant is simple.  Sell fresh seafood in the 'Market' side, and serve it in the 'Restaurant' side!

The first choice for both Sisters was the Local Frog Legs, pan seared with Garlic Scampi Sauce.  THE best we have ever eaten!  Fresh (not at all fishy), meaty and tender. The first entree ordered was the Broiled Snapper Stuffed with Snow Crab; a favorite that did not disappoint. A very nice sized portion served on a bed of rice. The second entree of the evening, and another standout, was Lobster Scampi.  Served with tomato in a garlic-white wine sauce over linguini.  According to the Sister, it was divine!

The variety of fish was excellent and some dishes had an Asian Flair.  So, if seafood is your 'thing' or you just have a hankering, give this place a try.  Easy to find, has its own parking lot, no need to dress up and has great food!

The Last Word: the Lemonchello Cake was very good.  So next time the Sisters might give the White Chocolate Cake a try.
